Recently, Zhang Peng and Gao Minna have got the first and the second place respectively among the arts in the Ninth Young Teachers' Teaching Competition hosted by Northwest University.
The Young Teachers' Teaching Competition, held once every two years, is a significant measure to enhance the young teacher's cultivation and to improve the teaching work of bachelor in the university. In order to coordinate with it this year, our school held the preliminary contest in the south campus in 3rd November and 11 young teachers of English major as well as public foreign languages have attended.
There are 30 young teachers from 19 apartments take part in this competition which is divided into two groups: the arts and the science, and the Selection Committee is consist of the members from teaching subcommittee of the University Academic Committee and from Teaching Inspection Committee, and provincial distinguished teachers. It comes out 8 first prizes and 12 second prizes, which is elected by the Selection Committee and examined by the council of presidents.
